St. Thomas Re-Employment Workshops
Weekly meetings are held on Fridays from 9-10:30 a.m. at Old St. Thomas Church, 272 King St., Crystal Lake, IL 60014. At the meetings: job leads are exchanged, tips are given on interviewing, resume writing is discussed, job-hunting frustrations are talked about, speakers are invited and much more.

McHenry County Workforce Network Job Search Seminars
Several different job training workshops are scheduled each month. Workshops are free, and are held at the Illinois Employment & Training Center, 500 Russel Court, Woodstock. Interested persons should attend one of the orientation sessions to find out more about services available and eligibility requirements. For directions to the Center, call .815.338.7100 x203. First you enroll in a free "Step One Career Development Seminar." In this seminar you will learn the 5-step process of career planning, develop a goal statement and learn about MCC's services and resources. Then you will be ready to enroll in "Step Two Career Workshops." You will assess your personality strengths, your interests and values. You will learn which careers match your self-assessments.
