Growing and learning doesn't happen in the same way for every child. Your child may do things later or differently than others his age. If you have any concerns about your child's development, please contact Child & Family Connections for a free evaluation. Early Intervention is a program for families with children aged birth to three years who have concerns about their child's development. Child & Family Connections is the system point of entry to access Early Intervention services. This program is funded by the Department of Human Services. It is the mission of Options & Advocacy to enhance the quality of life of children and adults with disabilities through advocacy, the coordination of services, and community education.

The McHenry County Health Department offers childhood immunization shots the last Tuesday of every month.

Free Developmental Screenings for Your Child
Adult and Child Rehab Center
Do you feel something isn't quite right with your child? Are you curious about how your child is progressing? The Adult and Child Rehab Center offers free developmental screenings on the second Tuesday of each month for infants and children through 35 months. Appointments can be made by calling the center at 815.338.1707.
